Dash of Courage: What & If

"Listen to advice, but follow your heart."-Conway Twitty

A brand new year is one week away.
During this stretch between endings and beginnings, I always think of two small words.

"What" & "If"

I first heard a version of this idea in a movie years ago, and it stuck with me because it's true far beyond love stories.

"What" and "If" are two harmless words. But put them together, and they can follow you for the rest of your life.

What if?
What if I had tried?
What if I had spoken up?
What if I had gone for it?

I don't know how your story will end. None of us do.

But I do know this...
If the dream mattered to you once, it still matters now.

If it stirred something in you then, it's not random that it's still whispering today.

Most people don't fail because of lack of talent, timing, or intelligence.
They fail because they never gave themselves Permission.

The hardest part isn't the risk.
It's the moment you decide
Whether to listen to fear, or to
That quiet voice inside that keeps coming back.

I don't know what your version of a Bold life looks like.
But I do know this: a new chapter starts next week.

And chapters don't begin with certainty.
They begin with courage.

Dash of Courage
I hope when that moment comes, when life taps you on the shoulder, you'll have the courage to say yes. And if you haven't yet, I hope that these words are the permission you needed to get started all over again.

Because What If....you were right all along.

Courage over Comfort,
